Here’s what happened.. (if you like a story!)
After just 6 months of moving full-time into my coaching business, I faced a pivot. It was no surprise really. I came out of the tracks, multi-passionate with a tonne of knowledge and experience and thought yep, I got this, it’s all going to be fine. Guess what? I didn’t and it wasn’t. I was gripped by fear. How could I pivot at such an early stage in the game? The “what will people think mindset”, imposter syndrome, fluffy vanity metrics and “how to’s” left me feeling overwhelmed, confused and really shitty to be honest.
So, I just took a pause. I gave myself the time I needed to refocus and it felt liberating. I simply knew in my bones that if I wanted to translate that level of expertise into an embodied coaching business, I had to challenge my conditioning and fomo. Then, and only then, could I master and embody my own self-leadership codes.
Why not take the easy route? Because I desired something deeper than a “copy & paste” formula that would inevitably fail after a few hurdles. I desired to create a legacy built on my own values and beliefs that would serve my needs first and foremost. If we want to be effective leaders in service, whether that’s a product or service based business, we HAVE to be embodied in service to ourselves first. Right?
It’s 2024 ladies! We can get all the information we need on how to build a business from the world wide web! What women TRULY desire, is to see others trailblazing their path and to know that it’s okay to be unconventional in how they do that. They want to see the evidence that someone has gone first and succeeded. Think of it as a frequency effect. Over the years, I have been mentored and guided by incredibly inspiring women. They came into my life at the exact pivot point in my evolution, supporting me to become the leader I am today. Now, it’s YOUR turn!
You are going to fail, you are going to succeed, you will evolve and you will most definitely pivot. It is the nature of women, it is the nature of a creative, innovative, soul-led business. How you show up for yourself will determine its legacy.
